S. Africa Regulator Licenses Luno as Financial Services Provider

South Africa’s Financial Services Conduct Authority gave Luno, the country’s largest and oldest crypto-asset service provider a license to operate as a financial services provider.

  • Luno is a global cryptocurrency investment app, founded in 2013, and available in more than 40 countries, it says in an emailed statement
  • NOTE: Luno is part of the Digital Currency Group, the world’s largest block-chain investor
