Pritzker Upbeat on Chicago Bears Stadium Infrastructure Talks

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said talks with the Chicago Bears over infrastructure around a proposed new stadium for the football team are continuing, signaling optimism that the state could help support the related public works.

“We have offered to do a number of things, still talking, as we always do with the Bears, about how best to meet their needs,” Pritzker told reporters Tuesday at an unrelated event in Normal, Illinois. He said discussions have focused on infrastructure and remain ongoing.
