Oregon DOR Publishes Withholding Tax Tables, Effective Jan. 1

The Oregon Department of Revenue Jan. 11 published withholding tax tables for different payroll periods, for corporate income and individual income tax purposes. The tables are effective Jan. 1 and can be used if employees claim the same number of allowances for federal and state purposes. The tables reflect the increased federal tax subtraction to $7,050 and changes to other indexed items. Corporation officers, members, or employees can be held personally responsible for unpaid withholding taxes owed by their corporations.
