Oklahoma Department of Health Adopts, Amends Regulations to Make Permanent 2019 Medical Marijuana Emergency Rules

The Oklahoma Department of Health Sept. 1 adopted and amended regulations to make permanent the 2019 emergency rules on medical marijuana for excise tax purposes. The rules include measures: 1) changing the processing time for patient licenses to 14 business days from 14 calendar days; 2) establishing a reduced application fee for 100 percent disabled veterans; 3) defining business licensee to be consistent with the increased application processing timeline, the renewal application process, new residency documentation requirements, and the approved waste disposal method; 4) addressing new license categories for transporters, transporter agents, short-term patients, research facilities, education facilities, testing laboratories, ...
