A federal court in Oklahoma said it won’t revisit a ruling that has allowed the state to collect income tax from Native Americans working on tribal land, denying relief sought by the Osage Nation.
The US District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma said Monday that federal regulations bar it from providing relief “solely on a change in the governing law,” as had been the basis for the tribe’s 2025 motion.
