New York Supreme Finds Tax Lien Purchaser Entitled to Accelerated Foreclosure

The New York Supreme Court Nov. 6 found that a tax lien purchaser was entitled to summary judgment in its lien foreclosure case. At issue was whether it could commence the action three months after purchasing the lien based only on the property owner’s failure to pay interest on the lien.
