New Hampshire collected more than $100 million, largely from businesses, under its recent tax forgiveness program, outstripping initial expectations for the 11-week amnesty.
The state banked $103.8 million during the amnesty period, which ran from Dec. 1, 2025 to Feb. 15, 2026, New Hampshire’s Department of Revenue Administration said this week. The state projected collections of only $5 million when the amnesty was added to the 2025-2027 biennial budget.
