Minnesota DOR Issues Information Reminding Eligible Individual Income Taxpayers of Free Electronic Filing Options

The Minnesota Department of Revenue (DOR) Feb. 18 issued information reminding eligible individual income taxpayers of free electronic filing options. The DOR provides information that: 1) Taxpayers may be eligible to file electronically for free if their adjusted gross income is $72,000 or less or if they meet other eligibility requirements; 2) tax filing season kicked off Friday, Feb. 12; and 3) the filing deadline to submit 2020 individual income tax returns is Thursday, April 15.
