A competition show involving TV host Jimmy Kimmel and YouTuber Mark Rober, an animated spin-off of the show “Family Guy,” and another season of the award-winning drama “The Pitt” are among the newest recipients of the recently expanded California film tax credit.
The latest round of awardees, announced by the governor’s office on Wednesday, include animation and competition shows for the first time after California lawmakers passed legislation to expand the kinds of projects able to qualify for the tax credit last year.
