The Idaho State Tax Commission announced that certain disabled veterans may qualify for a property tax reduction of up to $1,500 on their Idaho primary residence and up to one acre of land for 2026. To qualify, veterans must be recognized as 100 percent service-connected disabled or receive 100 percent compensation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs due to individual unemployability as of Jan. 1 and must own and occupy the property before April 15.
