Global Companies Commit to Green Reporting Despite EU Pullback

Most companies facing mandatory sustainability reporting in the EU plan to push ahead with their disclosures even as the bloc considers scaling back its new rules, according to a survey KPMG’s global arm released Tuesday.

Nearly three-fourths of companies surveyed said that their plans to comply with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive remain unchanged despite pending revisions to simplify and reduce mandatory disclosures.
