The German Ministry of Finance March 24 posted draft bills to implement: 1) the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCAA) on the automatic exchange of information (AEOI) on financial accounts pursuant to the Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (MCAA-CARF), signed Nov. 26, 2024; 2) the MCAA on the AEOI for income derived through digital platforms (MCAA-DPI), signed Nov. 26, 2024; and 3) the addendum to the MCAA on the AEOI on financial accounts under the common reporting standard (CRS), signed Nov. 26, 2024.
