Florida DOR Proposes Amending Rule on Public Use Forms for Tax Refunds

The Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) proposed amendments to a rule to incorporate changes to the instructions for aviation fuel tax refund applications. The amendments reflect the repeal of the tax on aviation fuel, effective Jan. 1, 2026, and specify that refunds for tax paid on aviation fuel used in federal government aircraft will apply only to fuel purchased before that date.
