The Florida Department of Revenue Oct. 1 announced the extension of the corporate income tax payment and return filing deadlines due to Hurricane Ian. The announcement includes: 1) eligible taxpayers that file Florida corporate income tax returns, as well as Florida corporate income tax installment payments, with original due dates or extended due dates falling on or after Sept. 23, 2022, and before March 2, 2023, will now have a due date of March 2, 2023; and 2) the extension is applicable to affected businesses anywhere in Florida.
