Deutsche Bank Names Morgan Stanley’s Akram CFO in Revamp (1)

Deutsche Bank AG carried out a major leadership revamp by naming Morgan Stanley’s Raja Akram as its chief financial officer from next year, while extending the term of Chief Executive Officer Christian Sewing.

Akram, Morgan Stanley’s deputy CFO, will join Deutsche Bank in October and take on his new role sometime next year after a transition period, the firm said in a statement Thursday. He will replace James von Moltke, who’ll be leaving the bank.
