Chamber Pushes for Circuit Split Over Pension Exit Bill Credit

A concrete manufacturer’s dispute with a Teamsters pension fund drew the attention of the US Chamber of Commerce, which urged the Seventh Circuit to break from its sister circuits over how to calculate withdrawal liability.

The Chamber objects to how the pension fund calculated Consumers Concrete Corp.‘s liability after withdrawing from the fund in 2019.
