Holding and investment company Aimia Inc. expects to receive all of the money owed to it under a settlement with Canadian tax authorities by the end of the year, the firm’s president said Thursday.
The Canada Revenue Agency and Revenu Québec are expected to refund Aimia C$33 million ($23.9 million) as part of a deal involving an audit of Aimia’s former subsidiary, loyalty points company Aeroplan Inc.
