President Donald Trump issued a flurry of executive actions during the first 100 days of his second term focused on a wide range of issues from tariffs and immigration to energy and education.
As Republican leaders in Congress focus on passing a sweeping reconciliation bill that would enact more of his agenda without Democratic support, Trump has turned to setting policies through executive orders, proclamations, and other presidential actions.
By contrast, he’s signed five bills into law since taking office — significantly fewer than those enacted in the first 100 days of his first term and other recent administrations.
