Assai Requests Injunction Against Casino, GPA Over Liabilities

Assai said it filed a precautionary measure requesting a preliminary injunction against Casino and GPA to protect itself from possible liabilities due to tax contingencies.

  • Filing considers measures by Brazil’s Federal Revenue Service and National Treasury Attorney’s Office to attribute joint liability to Assai for GPA contingencies of around 36m reais
