Anthropic Files Emergency Appeal to Delay AI Copyright Trial

Anthropic PBC implored the Ninth Circuit to pause a copyright lawsuit set for trial in December that could find the AI company liable for billions of dollars in damages for downloading troves of copyrighted books from online pirate libraries.
