A draft resolution released by the UN calls for the development of a framework convention to make international tax cooperation more inclusive.
The draft resolution, put forth by Nigeria and published to the UN’s website Monday, would establish a “member-state led, open-ended” ad hoc committee to draft the terms of a framework convention. The intergovernmental committee would gather in New York up to 15 days at a time, working with other international organizations and advocacy groups.
