The UK will amend its global minimum tax law to apply recent changes to the OECD-led framework from January 2026, the country’s tax minister said Wednesday.
The UK plans to consult on the new provisions before legislating the changes in the country’s next budget later this year, Dan Tomlinson, exchequer secretary to the UK Treasury, said in a written statement to Parliament.
