The UK collected £944 million ($1.3 billion) in digital services tax from tech companies in 2025-26, official data showed Thursday.
That marked an increase of 17% over the £808 million collected a year earlier, according to His Majesty and Revenue Customs’ figures.
The UK imposes a 2% tax on revenue generated by tech companies with global turnover above £500 million and at least £25 million attributable to UK users.
