Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance will impose anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled, flat-rolled non-oriented electrical steel products originating in or imported from China and South Korea for four months from June 8, according to a statement.
- The ministry made preliminary determinations that dumping occurred and caused material damage to domestic industry
- To impose duties ranging 26.44% to 49.84%
- Involved manufacturers and exporters include POSCO, Donghwa Corporation, Hyosung TNC Corporation, TOYOTA Tsusho Korea Corporation in South Korea, and all related companies in China
- The final decision on permanent duties will weigh overall national economic interests
