Poland to Complete Work on Digital Tax by End-Year: Minister

Ministry of Digital Affairs will complete works on draft law introducing digital services tax by end-year, Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski says in interview with radio RMF.

• While Gawkowski, from a junior coalition party, sees need for new levy, final decision will be made by cabinet and ruling coalition
• Bill concerns foreign platforms generating revenue in Poland but not paying enough taxes
• Tax is not targeting US companies specifically, he says
