Poland Has Yet to Decide on Big Tech Tax, Premier Tusk Says

Poland hasn’t yet made the decision whether to impose a new tax on large technology companies, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Wednesday, commenting on the clash between the country’s digitization minister and the incoming US ambassador to Warsaw.

Poland needs US investments and a “good cooperation” between the two countries in energy, defense and “practically” in every area, Tusk said in Warsaw. Even though the government as a whole isn’t working on the tax, Digitization Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski is preparing the project, the premier said.
