OECD Working to Resolve Global Minimum Tax Issues by Year-End

The OECD is working to resolve issues surrounding the global minimum tax by the end of the year, an official said Thursday.

Félicie Bonnet, head of unit for international tax coordination at the OECD, pushed back against calls for the tax—known as Pillar Two—to be scrapped.

“When you say, well, will Pillar Two go away, we can see that actually it’s not an easy proposition as it can seem given the work that has already been done,” Bonnet said at the CFE Tax Symposium in Ghent, Belgium.
