Meta Platforms Reveals First Foreign Corporate Tax Bills (1)

Meta Platforms Inc. paid Ireland $567 million in income taxes last year, the group revealed as it made its first-ever disclosures about how much corporate tax it pays in countries outside the US.

The tech giant told investors for the first time in its 10-K annual report, published late Jan. 28, how much tax it pays in the US, Brazil, India, and Ireland as part of new financial accounting requirements passed in 2023.
