Méliuz Says Brazil Seeks to Collect BRL30.7m in Late Taxes

Brazil’s tax agency have fined the company for the use of PIS/Cofins credits in 2021, according to a statement from Méliuz.

• The company was fined 13.6 million reais of principal amount and 17.1 million reais in fines and interest
• Méliuz says it disagrees with the charge and it plans to file an administrative appeal
