Ireland Seeks More Feedback on Implementing Global Minimum Tax

Ireland is seeking a new round of comments on legislative work to implement global minimum tax rules into domestic law.

A progress report released Thursday on implementing the 15% minimum tax—known as Pillar Two of the OECD-led global tax agreement—details six main areas being considered in draft legislation and sums up stakeholder feedback. It builds on the Finance Department’s March 31 progress report and a public consultation held last year.

Stakeholders have until Aug. 21 to comment.
