A top Dutch tax official said the Netherlands is preparing for the global minimum tax rollout and will support developing countries in international tax policymaking at the United Nations following talks with US tax officials.
The letter from State Secretary for Tax Affairs and the Tax Administration Marnix van Rij to Parliament Monday summarized discussions he had on the international tax system with officials from the US Treasury, the Joint Committee on Taxation, Congress, the IMF, the World Bank, and the UN between Sept. 10-15.
