A minister from Barbados discouraged countries from blacklisting others based on how far they’ve developed their tax transparency frameworks.
“We consider that such unilateral measures should be discontinued and see the Global Forum as the only standard setting body for automatic exchange of information,” Lisa Cummins, Barbados minister of energy and business development, said at a Global Forum annual meeting Wednesday.
