The Alabama Department of Revenue (DOR) issued a notice announcing that it will begin administering and collecting sales, use, rental, and lodging taxes for the City of Glencoe effective May 1. The first local tax return for Glencoe filed with DOR is for the period ending May 31. Retailers and businesses operating in Glencoe must file their first local tax return by June 20. [Ala.
