White House Limits Concessions in DHS Funding Counteroffer (1)

The White House has proposed an updated list of changes they’re willing to make for the Department of Homeland Security, as Democrats shun reopening the agency without an overhaul of its enforcement practices.

Border Czar Tom Homan, along with James Braid, director of the Office of Legislative Affairs, sent a letter to Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Katie Britt (R-Ala.) highlighting five proposed changes the Trump administration would make for DHS operations.
