US Military Hits Islamic State Targets in Syria Over Past Week

The US military said on Wednesday it had struck multiple Islamic State targets in Syria over the last week, continuing the American response to a deadly December attack on US and Syrian troops in Palmyra.

“CENTCOM forces located and destroyed an ISIS communication site, critical logistics node, and weapons storage facilities” as part of five strikes conducted from Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, US Central Command said Wednesday in a statement.
