Trump Launches Wide-Ranging AI Export Plan, Seeks Industry Input

The Trump administration this week launched an artificial intelligence export program to encourage the rest of the world to buy and adopt American technologies.

The program will promote comprehensive tool sets—including American hardware, software, models, applications, and standards—to foreign countries, the Department of Commerce announced Tuesday evening. These “full stack” packages will be industry-led, and the agency’s International Trade Administration is seeking input from companies to shape the program.
