Shutdown End In Sight With Senate Breakthrough: Congress Tracker

The Senate logjam finally broke, but there’s still more work to come in both chambers before the government reopens from what has been the longest shutdown in history.

The Senate voted 60-40 to clear a key procedural hurdle on Sunday night, but it hasn’t yet scheduled a vote for final passage. The chamber returns at 11 a.m. to work out an agreement to continue votes on the spending deal.
