Sen. McConnell Hospitalized Last Night Over Flu-Like Symptoms

Senator Mitch McConnell experienced flu-like symptoms over the weekend and checked himself into a local hospital for evaluation last night “in an abundance of caution,” his spokesperson says in a statement.

• McConnell’s prognosis is positive, statement says
  • “He is in regular contact with his staff and looks forward to returning to Senate business,” according to statement
