Rail Will Thrive With Trump Deregulation and Tech, Officials Say

The Trump administration is looking for ways to use new technology and deregulation to boost safety, efficiency, and reliability of railroads, top officials said Tuesday.

“Our goal is to get new technology out into the field as soon as practical,” Federal Railroad Administration Administrator David Fink said during a summit in Washington hosted by the Department of Transportation.
