Paxton Senate Campaign Plans Two-Day K Street Fundraising Trip

Texas GOP Senate candidate Ken Paxton is planning a two-day fundraising swing to Washington this month with events hosted by lobbying groups.

Paxton, the state’s attorney general who beat Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) in a primary runoff last month, is making a return to K Street in the drive to raise money for what is expected to be among the priciest contests of the midterm elections. He will face Democratic state Rep. James Talarico, who has also raised money from Washington lobbyists.
