The volume spiked Friday in the war of words, lawsuits, and memes between California Gov. Gavin Newsom and the Trump administration over the cancellation of 17,000 trucking licenses issued to non-residents driving in the state.
Newsom has clashed repeatedly with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy over whether the state or federal government was responsible for unqualified foreign drivers receiving commercial driver’s licenses.
