House members can seek money for more projects in their districts in the next round of funding bills, and can request earmarks in the Labor-HHS-Education bill, the chair of the House’s spending panel announced Wednesday.
“Due to high interest and demand the limit for Community Project Funding requests is now increased to 20 projects per Member,” House Appropriations Chairman Tom Cole (R-Okla.) wrote in a letter to colleagues as appropriators prepare to start work on fiscal 2027 funding bills.
