HHS Paused Billions in Public Health Infrastructure Funds

The Trump administration moved to pause billions in Biden-era public health infrastructure grants for state and local health departments.

An official with the Health and Human Services Department said the pause had been lifted by early afternoon Saturday, but awardees were still waiting to hear whether the work under the grants could restart, according to the Association of State and Territorial Officials.
