GOP Expands Trump’s Nominee Package After Democrats’ Blockade

Senate Republicans will start to work again next week on advancing a new package of more than 90 of President Donald Trump’s nominees after Democrats used a procedural loophole to derail their last batch.

Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) proposed the new executive resolution with an expanded list of nominees, including picks for the departments of Treasury, Labor, Defense and more on Thursday. Read the new list of nominees in the package here.
