Congress Officially Passes Epstein Files Bill, Sends to Trump

The Senate on Wednesday sent the House-passed bill to compel the Justice Department to release files on sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein to President Donald Trump for his signature, capping months of effort from survivors and a rear-guard effort from members of the president’s own party.

Trump’s earlier ties to Epstein have been the subject of intense scrutiny. The president for months has resisted this bill, and just last week he pushed back against Republicans who supported the measure.
