Comer Backs Marijuana Change to Amend ‘Injustice’ to Minorities

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) supports a possible move by President Donald Trump that would reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug.

Comer argued that marijuana possession crimes have harmed minorities in particular in his home state and that there’s been “an injustice” when it comes to mass incarceration of drug possession.
