The widow of late pop-rock singer Eric Carmen sued the owner of Rolling Stone and members of Carmen’s family for defamation over an article the magazine published about the singer’s life following his death last year.
Amy Carmen’s lawsuit says the January feature—written by journalist Andy Greene, who’s also named as a defendant—contains false and misleading statements that show the agendas of Eric Carmen’s brother, his children, and the magazine.
