Sports agent Brian Fettner will pay more than $250,000 to settle SEC allegations of insider trading ahead of Cintas Corp.‘s 2016 merger with G&K Services Inc.

Fettner snuck a peek at merger documents while visiting the home of a childhood friend who served as general counsel at Cintas, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a May 7 complaint. He then traded G&K stock using brokerage accounts belonging to his ex-wife and former girlfriend, the agency said.
