Rehab Owner Gets 52 Years for Sex Abuse, $175 Million Fraud Plot

The founder and former owner of a drug and alcohol treatment center in Los Angeles was sentenced Tuesday to more than 52 years in state prison for a series of sexual assaults and a fraudulent billing scheme that sought around $175 million from Anthem Blue Cross and other insurers, local prosecutors announced.
