Making Corporate Depositions More Civil Top Rule Change Proposal

Proposed changes to procedural rules would streamline corporate depositions in civil cases, and guide parties to cooperate “instead of fighting about everything,” attorneys told Bloomberg Law.

The changes “are important to corporate defendants that were getting tired of overbroad corporate-representative deposition notices,” Sean M. Marotta, an attorney with Hogan Lovells in Washington, said in an email.
